This was a whimsical motif design study and attempt to paint a motion-blurred, bioluminescent-esque portrait of the infamously elusive fairy.
Fairies move so fast, after all, it seems only trace elements of them have been captured in all the attempts through history to document them. Enchanting stories of mysterious dancing lights, brilliant pulsating colors and momentarily recognizable human-like figures decorate their mythos. Since I was unable to locate a fairy for comment, the symbolic stories (motifs) surrounding this loosely documented mythical fae offers some degree of insight into their mysterious ways...
